Who messes with the blowfish? Nobody!

Well that was fun. I had the most work to do since I’ve been here, in the least amount of time. We had a group meeting at 3:30 and one of my group colleagues was giving a talk at 10:00. In between, I ran pH titrations on both myoglobin and MT. The big problem was trying to get the pH right with the myoglobin without any buffer. So I wasted an hour or so figuring out that I had to put like 50 mL of myoglobin on a stirrer with a pH electrode, and add like 1 µL of acid with a syringe to keep it from going from pH 7 to 2 instantly. Oh, and it’s still raining here. There was a brief break that let me bike back to the house without getting soaked, so I was lucky. Internet seems to be fixed now.
