Okay, so got a better idea of what I’m going to be working on. Listened to some presentations from the grad students in the group today. Finished making protein today, going to extract and purify it tomorrow. Need to make up a bit of a presentation of my work for thursday. Apparently it’s going to take a couple weeks for me to get an employee number, so I can’t do my WHMIS training so that I can work alone. Since I’m still learning, it’s not a big deal right now, but it’s kinda annoying. Stir-fry again tonight; I can’t get enough of the canned shiitake mushrooms I found at Sobeys. I’ll need to pick some more up on the weekend.
