Gahdkjdagskmsdnkgd. So I come in this morning, managed to get the centrifuge bottles I had problems with yesterday unstuck by putting them in the freezer. My partner’s sick today, and I discover that she’s overcooked another batch of culture broth. I mix up another but all the autoclaves are full. Just got them in now and they won’t be done for another hour or so. Growth takes like 2–3 hours, another 4 to make the protein, and a 15 minute autoclave cycle. Something tells me that I’ll be both skipping lunch and staying late. Fun stuff.
