Removed s-tags from a batch of protein today. Seemed to turn out well. The new batch I started, not so much. I forgot to add kandamycin to the agar for my plates, so I tried to remelt it. Wouldn’t you know it? The plates weren’t autoclave safe and deformed all to hell and I needed to remake it. Tomorrow, growing protein, going for sushi while the boss is away, and drinking on the chem department’s bill. Wonderful.
